Rusty Crone To Set Ground At GVAT April 2nd

Rusty Crone, the driver of a very unique looking 600 and 270 is ready to start the season at one of his home tracks, Greenwood Valley Action Track (also known as GVAT). Their first show is April 2nd and it will be $500 to win for the 270’s and 600’s based off of a full field. Rusty is currently 21 years of age and has been racing for around 10 years now. Like stated, he plans to run Greenwood but also would like to see himself on the track at Clinton County as well. Currently he is happy where he is at in the two divisions that he does run. But stated that it would be nice to run Sprint Cars at some point in time depending on funding.

His goals for 2016 is to finish consistently in the top 10 at Greenwood. He’d love to rack up some more wins but that’s something that was lacked in 2015. One weakness he would like to overcome is being able to communicate with what the car is doing on the track and then being able to adjust it accordingly. He said he usually either doesn’t adjust the car enough, or goes too far.

Some of the things Rusty has done in the off-season was work at the family farm, travel to PRI in Indianapolis, race indoor Go-Karts occasionally, and rebuild the race cars.

The following specifications of his cars are as followed
600 :
Stealth Chassis
Skeetz Built Motor
Infinity Shocks
Wing Dynamics Wings

270 :
Probe Chassis
Skeetz Built Motor
TSL Afco Shocks
Wing Dynamics Wings
Both cars are lettered by Creasy Signs

Rusty and his team would like to thank the following sponsors for the upcoming 2016 season :
Barbara Cooper Accounting LLC
Big Boys Napa
Braim Refrigeration
Betts Excavating
Channel Seed
Keystone Group Ag Seeds
Key Trucking
Pine Hurst Acres
Skeetz Built Motors
