Jenna Schostkewitz is currently 17 years of age and has currently been racing for a total of 12 years. She is no stranger to the racing community as she has experience in Kid Karts, Champ Karts, Slingshots, as well as 270 Micro Sprints. Her favorite division to race in would probably be 270 Micro Sprints. Now, she currently has no experience in indoor racing so this is something completely new and exciting for her. The family who owns her Champ Kart ride is known as the Johnston family. They really took a risk asking her to be one of their drivers for the indoor season. Hopefully she gets good seat time, learns a lot, and gives it hell!
Now, she will be racing the following indoor tracks : Atlantic City as well as Trenton. Unfortunately not Allentown, but no biggie!
The Atlantic City Indoor Race will be held January 29th and 30th. It will take over the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ for two nights of racing action. Racing will get underway on Friday the 29th at 7:30 PM and continue that Saturday at 7:00 PM.
As far as the Trenton Indoor Race it will be held February 26th and 27th. It will be located at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, NJ. Similar times as Atlantic City. 26th will start at 7:30 PM and the 27th will start at 7:00 PM.
These indoor events will feature the Champ Karts, TQ Midgets, as well as Slingshots.
She will take any opportunity in front of her when it comes to racing. So as far as future plans for racing, asphalt or dirt won’t concern her. She’d love to continue to race whether it’s asphalt, dirt, you name it… Jenna and her father Dave already really enjoy what they are doing now though with the 450 4 stroke in the 270 class. It’s the innovative part of racing that they really enjoy. Almost like unlimited customization. Eventually she’d love to get some seat time in a 600 or even get back in a Slingshot again. Maybe even a kart… Anything. She just wants to race.
One of her favorite tracks to race at is Shellhammers for their Wingless Wednesday events. Bull Rings are one of her favorite tracks to race at. So this should definitely give her an advantage due to all indoor tracks usually being tight and racey.
If fans want to keep up with her for the indoor season or the 2016 season in general they can get a hold of her on her personal Facebook page, the Classic Cycles LTD Racing Facebook page, as well as her Instagram @jnnschstkwtz
Her sponsors that make her racing possible are Classic Cycles LTD, CARS Auto Body, Strictly Dirt Photography, Elite Conditioning, and GSD Coatings.
If anyone is looking to hop on board as a sponsor she would love to be in contact with you.
