A forecast calling for an 80% chance of thunderstorms – very heavy and possibly severe in nature – induced the decision to cancel the Saturday, September 6 event scheduled for Lanco’s Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.
Triangle Communications Night now shifts from September 6 to next week’s season finale, when the 2014 point championships decided in the 600cc, 270cc, 125cc, Sportsman, and 250cc Four-Stroke divisions.
Rain checks and wristbands from the rained out August 23rd event will be honored at next week’s curtain-closing program.
Gates open at 3:30 on September 13, with warm-ups slated to begin at 5 p.m. The first heat race goes green at 6:00.
Triangle Communications Night will offer qualifying heats, consolations, and 25-lap features for all five weekly divisions of Micro-Sprints.
General admission for adults is just $8.00, with discounts for Senior Citizens and Students. Tickets are priced at $2.00 for youth between the ages of six and 12, with children under the age of six are admitted free. And parking is always free at the Clyde!
There’s only one more chance to come out and LIVE the excitement that is Lanco in 2014, so be there on Saturday, September 13!
